Here at Lulu & Boo we’ve been super busy preparing for the next few months, very exciting times ahead! With being so busy, we’ve found a neat little way to keep our energy levels up. We’ve made our own nut-free protein bites that we munch throughout the day!
These nut-free energy bites are crammed full of tasty little gems! Medjool dates, chia, pumpkin and sesame seeds, raw cacao, and cinnamon.
Did you know that cacao offers a great source of magnesium, iron and antioxidants?
Pumpkin seeds are another source of magnesium, along with zinc, which helps to boost your immune system.
Chia seeds are full of fibre and healthy fats.
Medjool dates, are the Kings of all dates, they are also high in fibre, carbohydrates and contain more potassium than bananas!!! They are virtually fat, cholesterol and sodium free! Wow, you go Medjool!
