Beeswax
Beeswax is the building material used by bees to make the comb in which they store their honey. It is obtained from the honeycomb after the honey has been removed. It is a natural emulsifier and binds ingredients together. It offers a lot of protection due to it’s wax content and because it is absorbed very slowly by the skin, making it excellent for soothing dry, chapped skin.

Calendula Extract
Well known for its calming, anti-inflammatory effects on the skin. Its mild antiseptic action also helps to soothe and heal irritated skin. Promotes new cell growth.

Castor Oil
Castor oil has very good cleansing properties, it draws dirt from the skin. It is absorbed very slowly by the skin so this makes it excellent for barrier creams and balms.

Chamomile Extract

Hemp Oil
Good source of GLA. Deficiencies in GLA can cause dryness, loss of suppleness and wrinkling. With regular use the oil can help slow down the effects of skin aging and leave the skin smooth, soft and moisturised. Therefore it is ideal for mature skin, eczema, psoriasis and very dry skin. It is an excellent oil for all skin types including oily as it will not clog pores.

Jojoba oil
It softens, protects, improves suppleness and helps the skin to hold moisture. It has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Helping to moisturise dry skin but also balancing the over-abundance of oil in oilier skins.

Macadamia Oil
A rich oil, very high in palmitoleic acid. Palmitoleic acid occurs naturally in our skin, where its job is to maintain moisture levels. The level of palmitoleic acid is reduced with age, which results in dryer skin. Therefore a very good oil for mature and dryer skin types.

Mandarin
Mandarin is a very safe and gentle essential oil making it perfect for children and during pregnancy. It has calming and soothing properties making it beneficial for stress, nervous tension and insomnia. Mandarin detoxifies the body and reduces cellulite, and prevents stretch marks. It can also tighten up loose skin after loosing weight or pregnancy. Very good for oily and congested skin, but also benefits a sensitive skin and mature skin. Promotes cell regeneration, tones and firms.

Olive Oil
Due to its fattiness, it’s very good for dry, mature and sensitive skin. It has nourishing, softening and protecting properties. It is also anti-inflammatory making it excellent for treating skin irritations, sun damaged skin, eczema, psoriasis and itchiness.

Rose Essential Oil

St Johns Wort Extract
